eat, sleep, repeat…
New parent exhaustion is a whole different level of exhaustion. Period
Without a doubt sleep (or lack thereof), and breastfeeding, were two of the hardest parts of early motherhood. Considering the fact that eating and sleeping are all new babies do, I had my nose in all the books during each pregnancy trying to “prepare”.
Even still, once my babies arrived I spent more nights than I can remember on Google trying to figure out one thing or another… or looking for reassurance that I was “doing it right”. Those first few months were hard… AF. But I learned a lot along the way. So much so that I made it over a year exclusively breastfeeding both my oldest son and my twins. And was able to get them to sleep - through the night and in their own rooms - from around 6 months old (with the exception of regressions, teething, and the occasional sickness).
Over the last several months I have shared a few breastfeeding and sleep training tips… and on one post in particular I eluded to a Part II… that never came. Instead… it turned into this. A full on eBook filled with all the gems to not only help expectant and new moms lay the breastfeeding foundation, transition back to work (or get some time away from their little one), store milk and more… but ALSO includes my tips on sleep training. Not to brag… but around some parts I have been called the baby whisperer… 🤣
