So elfin fun

Welllpp... our Elf on the Shelf made his debut! Despite the fact that I will usually hop on any opportunity to get creative we keep his antics pretty simple usually right until the last few days. I don’t like to set the bar or expectations too high because let me tell you... our oldest remembers and questions EVERYTHING!

If Buddy (that’s our Elf’s name - original I know) was in a tuxedo last year on a red carpet for his movie premiere then literally sitting him on a shelf this year wouldn’t fly. So... we keep it easy. Our son still loves the “magic” of it all so it feels like a win-win. Especially this year when our nights usually end up being a second work shift. Egghh! Lol!

P.S. I literally had to put a note in my phone so I could remember where the hell I hid him last year. If you are anything like me (aka can’t remember ish) I would suggest the same.
